District 117 offers its students the opportunity to join Beginning Band. All 5th graders at both Oak Ridge and Glen Oaks Schools may audition for the 5th Grade Band after completing and returning the Band Interest Form. Those forms will be distributed to students after the Conrady Symphonic Band performance for the 5th grade student body at Oak Ridge on Wednesday, September 16 and at Glen Oaks on Thursday, September 18. Tryouts will then follow at Oak Ridge on Monday, September 21 and at Glen Oaks on Tuesday, September 22. The Informational Parent Meeting will be held at Conrady Junior High on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00pm. Links to all forms are available at the menu on the left. Please encourage your children to participate in this program. We hope to see many interested parents at the Informational Meeting.
