North Palos School District 117 is located in the Palos Township of Cook County. The District encompasses portions of three municipalities: almost all of Hickory Hills, over half of Palos Hills, and a small portion of Bridgeview, Illinois. There are five school buildings in the District that enroll students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8, with a total enrollment of approximately 3,000 students. Two of the buildings are used for grades 2-5, one for grades Kindergarten and first, one for grades 6-8, and one for Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten.
