Any student crossing Roberts Road before or after school MUST cross with the crossing guard at 97th Street.

Students:  remember you are not allowed to ride your skateboards on school property.
Those that choose to ignore school policy will receive appropriate consequences.

FRIDAY (MARCH 19) ANNOUNCEMENTS

Assets will begin again the week after spring break. Our usual schedule will be followed.

Both Conrady assignment notebooks and lanyards are now on sale for $2 in the office.

 Attention Conrady Idols:  our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 1, from 2:30-4 p.m. in Mrs. Christie’s Rm. 6.  We will be finalizing the dance, so be sure to attend!  Buses will be provided. 

Spring issue of student newspaper will be on sale today for 25 cents during lunch periods.  If you miss your opportunity during lunch, see Mrs. Wilson for your chance to read your classmates’ work.

All students should have their school I.D.s out and ready to show before you get on the bus.

Attention Spirit Club members or anyone interested in joining spirit club:  our next meeting will be Monday, March 29, in Rm. 7.   Buses will be provided.   Please see Ms. Young, Ms. Sharp or Ms. Fitzpatrick if you have any questions.

Attention track team members:  if you attended the informational meeting, remember your forms, physicals and money are due Monday, March 29 (our first day of practice). If you missed the meeting and would still like to join, you need to see one of the coaches today (Friday).  See Mrs. Swoboda, Mr. Gasparovich, Ms. Zabielski or Mr. Sincock if you have any questions.

Hey Jaguars: don’t forget to buy your seat at this year’s volleyball bash!  Tickets are only 50 cents, and 8th graders get in free (but 8th graders you still have to sign up in order to attend).  Come and see this year’s 8th grade girl and boy volleyball teams fight it out for the right to face the faculty team….. and, as promised, in between games teachers will be pied in the face and dodgeballed by lucky winners of this year’s V-BASH RAFFLE WHICH IS COMING SOON!!!!

8th grade students going to Washington D.C. trip must arrive at Conrady by 6:30 p.m. this (Friday) evening.  First one here gets the first choice for seating on the bus.  Any questions, see Miss Pavek in Rm. 29.

 Attention all students:  Badminton Open Gym runs through tomorrow (Thursday) from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the back gym.  Buses will be provided.  Any questions, see Miss Stefl in Rm. 18.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is Lucky Tray Day here at Conrady; anyone buying a lunch has a chance to win.  Good luck!

Attention all crowd members in Romeo and Winifred:  please make sure you are at rehearsal today (Wednesday) from 2:30-4:00 p.m.   If you can’t make it, please be sure to talk to Mrs. Silgalis or Ms. Kussman before!  See you tomorrow!

TUESDAY (MARCH 16) ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the Symphonic Band for an excellent performance at the Illinois Grade School Music Festival on Saturday.  The band earned a second place rating.  Great job everyone!

Student Council would like to invite all students to attend Conrady’s Volleyball Bash, which will be Thursday, April 1, from 2:30-4:30 p.m.; buses will be provided.  Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria this Thursday and Friday for $.50 for 6th & 7th graders and free for 8th graders (because they won last year’s Penny Wars). 

   Important Reminders:

Please remember to call your child in absent if they are not going to be in school on that day. All students should be excused by a parent phone call by 8:30 a.m. Calls may also be made to the attendance line at 708-598-5743.

All students MUST have their ID cards with them on the bus at all times. Drivers will be "spot-checking" and if a student does not have his/her ID there will be disciplinary action assigned. Students, remember that if you forget your bus pass, you may obtain a temporary pass in the office during your homeroom.

Any students who take the bus after school need to be on their bus by 2:29 pm. The busses will be leaving promptly due to making later runs for the elementary schools.

All students should have their emergency forms filled out and the forms must be turned in to your homeroom teacher. Any updated information should be sent in immediately.

The District 117 School report card is available for viewing on the website www.npd117.net. After reaching the home page, you can click on the "School Report Card" to access the information. If you would like a hard copy of the report card, please call the office.

Parents may request a copy of their child’s reading and math ED-Vision Performance scores. Copies may be obtained at Parent-Teacher conferences or by calling the child’s teacher.
