Our expectations are high, this we understand. We expect to produce the best and brightest students for the world. We stand by our mission, aligning everything we do to maintain our focus and purpose.
For the 2010-2011 school year, there is no secret that we plan to be aggressive in ensuring that at least 98% of all Conrady students meet or exceed learning standards in math and reading as measured by the Illinois Standards Achievement Test in 2011. We’re in an exciting phase as we strive for the ultimate goal of 100%.
Our aggressive approach means more frequent and individualized monitoring of student performance skills, strategic interventions, increased parent partnerships, assessing and modification of all available resources and programs that this school has to offer, increased professional collaboration, and high degrees of accountability in order to make certain that each student realizes his/her full potential.
With updated technology, higher order thinking skills, and 21st Century Teaching and Learning at the forefront, we are navigating into the next decade with great optimism and belief that all students will have the skills to fulfill their life dreams in making our world a great and enjoyable place to live.
Thanks for taking an interest in Conrady Junior High. I’m fortunate in my role of leading such a diverse community of professional educators, support staff, and students. Feel free to contact me at any time!
