The Accelerated Reader supplemental reading program at Dorn Primary Center involves the use of over 1,800 Reading Practice Quiz titles varying in reading levels from 0.2 (pre-first grade) to 7.0 (7th grade). Students can find most of the Accelerated Reader books clearly marked in our library, with additional titles and/or copies available in classrooms and in the Reading Intervention room. The Reading Practice Quizzes are the foundation of the program and help the teachers measure a reader's progress in comprehension and thinking skills of books read to them or read independently. Using the lists above, students could also check out books at the public library or purchase them at a retail store.
