The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has selected Dorn Primary Center as one of 250 schools in the State of Illinois for outstanding efforts implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for the 2007-2008 school year.

One reason Dorn was selected by the ISBE was a result of Dorn's "Systematic Information Management for Educational Outcomes". The systematic improvement processes that we are using at Dorn and throughout the district are being recognized by the state and other districts as best practices.
