2010 Stilgebauer Award Winner
Lisa Quigley, 4th grade teacher at Oak Ridge School in North Palos School District 117 has been honored this year to receive a Stilgebauer Award for Exemplary Use of Technology. Her project “The Underground Railroad” was chosen as one of only 10 elementary school projects to receive the award this year.The Stilgebauer Award Program awards Districts, schools, and teachers throughout suburban Cook County for innovative projects that increase student learning through the integration of technology. The award is named for Larry Stilgebauer, a former Principal and a technology leader in Palatine School District 15.
This is the second time that Lisa has received a Stilgebauer Award for her technology projects.
The awards are presented at a ceremony at the Illinois Technology Conference for Educators on February 25.
