Accelerated Reader is a program used in our school to motivate children to improve their reading abilities by following a structured, yet very enjoyable, journey through more challenging reading levels. Students choose books targeted at their current reading level. The books are meant to improve skills. Results are measured with quizzes taken on a computer.  Students earn points for books successfully completed.  Points are counted, and reward ribbons are given as levels are reached.  Students names and pictures are posted on the bulletin board as they progress. Your child’s love of reading will really deepen!
