How current is the information on Parent Access?
The Parent Access web site is updated every night. This will give you the latest
available information each morning.
Is there a fee to use Parent Access?
No. Parent Access is free to all users.
How do I access Parent Access?
The Parent Access web site may be accessed from any computer with Internet
access. You must use Internet Explorer or Netscape to access the Parent Access
web site. Go to www.npd117.net and click on
Parent Access Logon.

How can I get a user ID and password to view my child’s data?
You can download a form from the NPD117 web site. Go to www.npd117.net, click on
Parent Access, and click on Signup Form. Fill out and print the form, and take
the completed form along with your picture ID to Conrady.
How may user ID’s can my family request?
One login account may be issued to each family. Both parents can use the same
login account. If parents are separated or divorced each parent may request a
login account, provided there are no court orders or legal restrictions
prohibiting access to the parent. If a child lives with a guardian, the guardian
must have legal right to access the child’s record.
What if I do not have a computer at home?
Parent Access may be accessed from the library, community center, work, school,
church, or any place that has Internet access.
What if I forget my password?
Please contact the Parent Access Administrator at grades@npd117.net. Please
provide user ID and mailing address for verification. Your password will then be
emailed to you. No passwords will be given out over the phone. For security
reason the request must come from the email address on file. Also all
replies will be sent to the email address on file.
How do I change my password?
Go to the settings tab and change your password. Make your new password eight
characters in length. You may use alpha and/or numeric characters, but do not
use symbols or spaces. Please note that you cannot change your user ID. Only
your password can be changed.
My e-mail address has changed. Do I need to call the office?
No. Log in to Parent Access, and click on Settings. Type your new e-mail address
in the box below “Primary E-mail Address”. Please send an e-mail to the Parent
Access Administrator as well (graders@npd117.net).
What do I do if I get “locked” out of my Parent Access account?
If you have three failed attempts inputting your user name and password, the
system will lock and automatically reset itself after 15 minutes. There is no
need to contact anyone about the problem.
What can I do if my child’s information is incorrect?
If the grade book information is incorrect, you may use the e-mail link to send
and e-mail message to the teacher. If any other data is incorrect, you may use
the e-mail link to notify the school Parent Access contact.
What precautions have been taken to ensure data security?
The standard security alert features will encrypt data while it goes across the
network. These are the same features used in the banking industry.
What prevents a stranger from getting a user ID to view my child’s data?
When requesting a user ID and password, the parent/guardian must go to the
school and provide proper identification to the school contact. The school will
verify the parent/guardian relationship and the right to access the student’s
record. This is the same protocol currently used for requesting student records.
How do I receive e-mail alerts of unexcused absences, tardies, or failing
scores?
Go to the settings tab and mark your preferences.
I received an e-mail alert on my student’s attendance. I need clarification.
Please contact the school where the student attends.
I clicked on the grades tab, but I only see last quarter’s classes and
grades, how do I find current grades?
The grades tab refers to the last report card grades. If you wish to view
assignment grades, click on Assignments, and then click on Schedule. You will
see the student's schedule and cumulative grades. To view all of the assignments
for a particular class, click on the cumulative grade for that class. You will
be able to view all of the assignments for that class, along with the points
earned/points possible for each assignment.
Is the GPA (Grade Point Average) and Class rank based on the weighted GPA
(Grade Point Average)?
Yes, it is.
How do I log off of Parent Access?
Closing your browser will automatically log you off of the Parent Access system.
How do I obtain “Official” school records?
The information provided on Parent Access is not to be considered official
school records. To obtain Official School Records, please contact the district
office at 708-598-5500
I have a student that is not on my original account. How do I add the student
to my account?
You can download the Signup Form from the NPD117 web site. Go to
www.npd117.net,click on Parent Access, and click on Signup Form. After filling
out the form you may bring the form to Conrady, along with a photo ID. Your
request will be processed in 24-48 hours.
