Superintendent's Message

    Jean Stachowiak

As we head into spring and the final stretch of what has become another incredibly successful school year, we have a chance to pause and reflect on some of the things we have accomplished as a school community during the last nine months. From coveted recognitions of our students and staff to innovative teaching and learning initiatives, we have much to celebrate. As superintendent, I am extremely proud of what we have achieved together.

Preparing for the final months of the 2017-2018 school year, we are excited about the endless educational possibilities that are ahead of us. We work every day to encourage the development of an environment that fosters lifelong learning. We appreciate your efforts in helping us achieve that goal. We realize that none of our success would be possible without the continued support of our entire District 117 community.

We take a great deal of pride in being a high-performing school district with high-performing expectations. We achieve high-performing results by commitments from high-performing teachers who work tirelessly during the school day and by helping students in Assets (after-school program) and summer school.

As superintendent, I am fortunate to work with an incredible staff and students in NPD 117. Thank you all for your continued support of our district. We look forward to finishing the school year strong. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's education, please contact me.

    Yours in education,

    Dr. Jeannie Stachowiak
