COFFEE WITH THE PRINCIPALS
We are excited to offer "Coffee with the Principals" sessions during the 18-19 school year! Our goal is to provide families with an opportunity to join us for an informal conversation regarding our school and your child's education.
Sessions will be offered at varying times to accommodate the busy schedules of our Panther families. We are seeking feedback from our families as to the best time to offer this program. Please fill out our form, indicating your time preference, so we can plan our sessions accordingly. Once feedback has been collected, we will distribute a schedule for the program.
We are excited to offer this program and look forward to collaborating with our Panther families!
Glen Oaks was last honored with this prestigious award in 2012. ONE of only 16 schools that qualified, Glen Oaks has been nominated as an Exemplary High Performing School.
Glen Oaks School received a designation of EXEMPLARY, which is the highest designation a school can receive. The designation means that Glen Oaks performed in the top 10 percent of all schools in the state and that there are no underperforming student groups at or below the “all students” groups in the lowest-performing 5 percent of all schools.
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Glen Oaks School, home of the Panthers! Our Panther Professors look forward to working with our families, children, and community members to create a learning environment in which children’s intellectual, social, and emotional development are interconnected and integrated into activities across our rigorous curriculum.
It is our great pleasure to welcome you (yes, both student and parent!) to our Panther family! We assure you that each and every staff member on the Glen Oaks team is a highly qualified and compassionate professional who is eager to meet your child. Your child will benefit from the instruction of not only their grade level teachers, but additional content specialists who all strive to provide your child with a well-rounded education.
We strive to provide the best educational environment possible for all students at Glen Oaks School. We follow the PBIS system, which stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. The goal of this program is to teach students expected behaviors as they follow school expectations, and to reinforce and reward positive behaviors. The expectations reinforced by all Glen Oaks staff are Be Respectful, Be Caring, Be Safe, and Be Here and Ready.
