Principal's Message

    Dear Oak Ridge Families,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!  We hope everyone had a relaxing summer, and created many memories with families and friends.  We are very excited to see our returning students back as well as introduce ourselves to our new mustangs.

At Oak Ridge, we have a dedicated staff committed to ensuring the success of each and every student.  We have a diverse population of staff, students, and families. Not only do we celebrate our diversity, we embrace our backgrounds as an opportunity to inspire one another and create strong citizens for our global society.

Our district mission in North Palos 117 is to “create a positive, caring, learning environment...and ensure that every student will realize his/her full potential.”  As the new principal, assistant principal, and team leader at Oak Ridge, we will work every day to ensure this vision becomes a reality for our students.  At Oak Ridge, we believe in developing a growth mindset and challenge our students to be the best possible versions of themselves. We are committed to providing our students a rigorous and truly engaging educational experience.  We believe through a consistent effort and partnership with school, home, and community our students can achieve anything!

We thank you for making Oak Ridge your home and for consistently being an active part of our Oak Ridge family.  We could not possibly achieve the results we do without you.

Be sure to follow us on Twitter at @OakRidgeNPD117 and check your email for our weekly parent newsletter.  If you need anything this year, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help.

Looking forward to a great year,

    Kevin Buscemi -Principal

    Jennifer Stefan - Assistant Principal

    Dave Creagan - Team Leader
