TumbleBooks contains a library of animated books to which students can listen. These animated books help make reading fun for children! TumbleBooks contains fiction stories, nonfiction texts, chapter books, math books and more. It can also be accessed through the Green Hills Library website.

Wordreference.com is a multi-lingual dictionary. It is a great resource for translating words to and from English in numerous languages. It provides multiple definitions for words, words that are specific to certain dialects, and it offers forum discussions for words or phrases that may be difficult to translate. I have found it to be a very useful tool! -
Snapp School (Common Core Math)
North Palos District 117 is pleased to offer a free service to parents interested in helping their child at home with math. SNAPP School is a website in which parents can subscribe to receive a weekly newsletter about the Common Core Math State Standards. North Palos District 117 is able to offer this service to parents free of charge by subscribing at www.SnappSchool.com/northpalos/ . It is as simple as entering your email address and the grade level of your child. Next thing you know, you will be receiving specific information about each standard your child is learning in math class. -
