    Hello, Readers! My name is Mrs. Lavelle. This is my 12th year of teaching and my 8th year as a Reading Specialist at Glen Oaks. I am excited to share my love of reading with the students of Glen Oaks! It is my goal to help encourage students and support them in their reading instruction by teaching them valuable skills and strategies they can utilize to strengthen their reading ability. Rules and Procedures for the Reading Room

In the Reading Room, we work together to develop expectation of a shared classroom. This is what we have agreed upon:

1. Keep your focus on our group.

2. Keep your voice level down.

3. Respect Teacher areas.

4. Do not disturb other groups. 

5. Be on time and prepared.

6. Work hard!

 

 

What can I earn for good behavior?

At the end of class, the teacher will award punches on a punch card based on the behavior chart. When the punch card is filled up, the students will be able to turn in their cards for special rewards!
