• Welcome to the reading program!   My name is Mrs. Hogan and I am one of the Reading Specialists here at Dorn Elementary.  This is my first year teaching reading at Dorn, but I have been a reading specialist at Glen Oaks for 13 years. Before that, I taught 4th Grade at Glen Oaks for six years.  I received my undergraduate degree as well as my graduate degree from Northern Illinois University (GO HUSKIES!). I am married with two daughters, one is a junior in high school and my younger daugher is in 7th grade.  We also have two adorable cats, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.  I love to spend time with my family, teach Zumba classes, and READ, READ, READ!  I can't wait to start this school year and share my love of reading with you!
