    What are ROAR Rules?

    ROAR Rules are used in this class to ensure that you are taking responsibility for your social and academic success. It aligns with Conrady’s School-Wide PBIS initiative. PBIS means Positive Behaviorial Interventions and Supports. The purpose of this program is to recognize positive behaviors and engage in re-teaching any behaviors when it is necessary to do so.

    Roar Reports are used in class to monitor when any re-teaching of Handbook Expectations is necessary. Each quarter you will get a new Roar Report punch card. Any time a Roar Rule is not followed, you will get a punch on your card. If you have the following:

    Paw Card Punched

    Consequence

    1

    Warning from teacher

    2

    Review Expectation with Teacher

    3

    Parent Phone Call

    4

    Referral to the Dean

    *Consequences may change depending on the severity of the action.
