Board of Education

The Board of Education is the governing board of North Palos School District 117. The seven members of the Board of Education are elected to four-year terms in the April general election in odd-numbered years. The Board usually meets monthly to discuss topics that guide the district.

All meetings are held (unless otherwise stated) at the Dr. Ken Geraghty Administration Center, 7825 W. 103rd Street, Palos Hills. Meetings are usually scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month, with September being the exception. Closed session will be held from 6:30 to 7:00 pm with the regular (open) meeting following.

Please note that Board agendas will be posted on our website the Friday before a Board meeting. As minutes are not official until they are approved by the board, minutes from the prior month will not be posted until they are approved by the Board of Education at the following month's meeting.
