Hello Pre-K Families!

I’m very excited to begin this school year. I am a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been in Early Childhood for over ten years.  When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family! I currently live in Oak Lawn with my husband of twelve years and our two little boys.

I am so estastic to work with your children this year! Each year brings me excitment and joy in being able to witness children grasping new concepts and growth throughout the school year.  Being in the early childhood field,  I believe all children learn through active play. While learning through play, one will see an enhancement of cognitive and social development over time. Not only will we be busy through play, but our classroom will be a community, with children playing together to motivate learning and build confidence. Positivity will also be highly visible in the classroom, as I am a firm believer in highlighting good behaviors and actions in order to negate poor choices that children may make from time to time.

It is my goal that our pre-k class continues to be a community of learning through play and family involvement throughout this school year. I can not wait to see what 2021-2022 school year brings us!
