  • Going Out on Top

    Conrady 8th grader Ali Elabsi (above) powers home a point Tuesday in the Jaguars’ convincing win against Liberty Junior High. The two-set victory earned the Jaguars the conference volleyball crown with a 10-1 record. The 7th Grade Girls’ basketball team also picked up a win against Liberty in Burbank Tuesday. Conference tournament games start later this week.

  • Gobble Gobble

    Students in Conrady’s LEAP program got an early start recently as they made decorations and had a mini-Thanksgiving feast. The program provides life skills and education in a specialized setting.

  • Let it Fly!

    Saja Salamah (above) puts up a shot Thursday vs Oak Lawn-Hometown. The 8th Grade Girls’ basketball team battled all game, but lost to the Mustangs as the game-tying shot came up short. Meanwhile, the 8th Grade Boys’ Volleyball team topped the Mustangs in Oak Lawn to continue their impressive season. They will play Tuesday against Palos South for the conference championship.

  • Twice as Nice

    Conrady’s 7th and 8th Grade Boys’ volleyball teams each posted wins Tuesday with straight set victories against Evergreen Park’s Central Middle School. The 7th graders got improved defense and serving to post their first win of the season. The 8th graders meanwhile, got back on the winning track by overpowering the Panthers in two games.

  • Fundraiser Fun

    Conrady students joined Principal Adrienne Pavek, Assistant Principal Dorita McCabe and Basketball Coach Frank Mateja Tuesday night for a fundraiser at the Chipotle restaurant in Bridgeview. A portion of the proceeds went to fund the school PTSA. We thank all of the parents, students, and staff who helped make the evening a success.

  • Girl Power

    Conrady students put their best (costumed) faces forward Friday for the annual Fall Bash celebration. In addition to a deejay offering up dance mixes for students in the main gym, students also used the back gym for makeshift basketball games. There were also snacks and refreshments to keep the party going. Thanks again to all the parents and staff who helped make the night a success.

    Members of Conrady’s Adventure Club strike a pose at Konow’s Corn Maze. The group visited the farm in Homer Township, taking in the brisk fall weather for a chance to enjoy the maze, corn pit, scarecrows, and pumpkins galore.
