During the month of December, Glen Oaks' Student Council led the effort to collect items for the Ronald McDonald House in Oak Lawn. In total, students and staff donated 3,117 items and over 50 pounds of pop tabs!! There was a competition between the classes in each grade, and the following classes won for collecting the most items:
2A -Mrs. Mirus
3A- Mrs. Collias
4G- Mrs. Kelly & Mrs. Abraham
5B- Ms. Vittorio
The following classes won for collecting the most pop tabs (by weight):
2D- Mrs. McCormick
3C- Mrs. Woolridge
4A- Mrs. Hammad
5G- Miss Herman & Mrs. Flak
