Reminder: Pickup Procedures at Oak Ridge

Our goal in developing procedures for the dismissal process at Oak Ridge School is to create as efficient of a process as possible with the limited space we have on our back playground, while keeping student and staff safety our top priority.
The driveway leading to the Oak Ridge playground MUST remain clear to provide access for District 117 vehicles, delivery drivers, and emergency response personnel.  Additionally, with the return of warmer weather, our PE teachers will resume holding their classes on the playground and the gate will need to remain closed for safety purposes during instructional time.  
As a result, the gate entering our back lot off of 88th Avenue WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 2:30 PM.  We ask that you do not arrive at Oak Ridge School PRIOR TO 2:30 PM for student dismissal.  We also ask that you do not park on the apron driveway in front of the gate, anywhere on 88th Avenue, or around the corner on Taos Drive and into the surrounding neighborhood.
Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps keep our arrival and dismissal process running efficiently and, most importantly, safely.
