Approximately 40 retirees attended the breakfast, sharing stories, laughter, and updates on their lives. This year, the group added a special touch by wearing name tags that listed the schools or offices where they had worked during their time in the district. The name tags served as a reminder of their contributions and the impact they had on the education of countless students.
The annual gathering not only provides a social event for the retirees but also serves as a way to maintain their connection to the North Palos community, as NPD117 Superintendent, Dr. Christine Droba, also attended to provide an update on what is currently happening in North Palos and how it impacts the community. By sharing their experiences and perspectives, they continue to inspire and support the current generation of students and educators.
